Nursing and Allied Health Grants 2024 Recipients Announced

The RPH Research Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the Nursing and Allied Health Grants 2024, with recipients working on novel research projects aimed at enhancing patient care within the East Metropolitan Health Service. The Foundation has awarded a total of $72,861 across five research projects.

Nursing and Allied Health Grants 2024 encompass a diverse range of projects that address critical healthcare challenges. From personalising rehabilitation strategies in Intensive Care Units to creating alternative treatment options for those with chronic pain to exploring the patient experience in isolation rooms for multi-resistant organism management, these projects are delving into how treatments need to be adjusted to improve mental health and recovery. Projects researching how to improve lung function testing for transgender individuals and understand the recovery process for children and adolescents with ankle or knee sprains are looking to reduce gaps in healthcare access and enhance patient care.
