RPH Research Foundation supporters and staff raise $3500 Running for Research
22.05.2023 The RPH Research Foundation is proud to announce the successful participation of its dedicated supporters and staff in the HBF Run for a Reason, held on Sunday May 21 2023. Through their energetic efforts and commitment to supporting medical research, the Foundation raised an impressive $3510 while actively engaging with the community.
The highly anticipated HBF Run for a Reason made a triumphant return to Gloucester Park, drawing a staggering number of participants from all walks of life. More than 33,100 runners, walkers, and wheelers came together, marking the event's first occurrence since 2019.
The RPH Research Foundation's supporters raised funds for research to advance medical knowledge and improve healthcare outcomes. Taking part in the 4km and 12km walks and runs, they demonstrated their commitment to both physical activity and vital health research.
The event was a testament to the power of community and the determination to make a difference. The RPH Research Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to all those who joined the run and supported their cause. The funds raised will be instrumental in enabling further research initiatives, fostering innovation, and ultimately improving the lives of individuals affected by various health conditions.
RPH Research Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer Cate Cassarchis, who actively participated in the HBF Run for a Reason alongside her daughter by completing a 4km walk, expressed her gratitude and enthusiasm for the event.

It was not only a chance to be physically active but also an opportunity to engage with our community and raise funds for vital research.
