Professor Kevin Croft
Senior Honarary Research Fellow, The University of Western Australia
Research Overview
Professor Croft's research interests are related to oxidative damage to lipids and atherosclerosis as well as understanding factors that influence blood vessel function. This includes biomarkers of in vivo oxidative damage; role of diet derived bioactive compounds.
His aim has been to understand the absorption, metabolism and bioactivity of diet derived polyphenolic ‘antioxidant’ compounds with a view to improving lifestyle management of chronic disease.
