2024 Research Innovation and Impact Grant Program is a Program of the Western Australian (WA) Future Health Research and Innovation Fund (FHRI Fund) and the RPH Research Foundation.
The Research Innovation and Impact Grants aim to fund new research projects that challenge existing paradigms. These grants allow researchers to follow leading observations and investigate novel ideas to improve clinical practice.
This grant program supports mid-career and senior researchers who are translating their ideas into healthcare innovations that could lead to a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of our community. The research must be undertaken in Western Australia and be of direct relevance to the WA public health system/community.
Thanks to matched co-funding from the FHRI Fund, the RPH Research Foundation will award a total of $3,600,000 across several innovative research projects.
These grants have been designed to give researchers the freedom to follow leading observations and investigate innovative ideas that could be game-changers for healthcare providers and their patients.
Applicants can submit projects up to $1,200,000 for a period of 3 years.
